Booking & confirmation
A booking is confirmed once you receive a confirmation from us by email or message — not when you submit a request. Prices are shown per day and include fuel, safety gear, and VAT unless stated otherwise on the boat's page.
The person named on the booking must be present on the day and is responsible for everyone on board.
Paying for your trip
Payment is handled securely through Stripe (cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay). We don't store your card details. Any balance due on the day is agreed in writing before your trip.
Cancellations & changes
We keep this simple — no fine-print games.
- More than 48 hours before: cancel for a full refund, or move your booking to another day at no charge.
- Within 48 hours: we'll do our best to reschedule; refunds are at our discretion if we can't re-let the slot.
- No-show: the booking is treated as used.
To change or cancel, message us as early as you can so we can offer the slot to someone else.
Weather
Safety comes first. If the weather or sea conditions aren't suitable, we'll contact you to reschedule or give you a full refund — your choice. The final call on whether it's safe to sail rests with us and, for captained trips, the skipper.
Self-drive boats & licences
Our self-drive boats are within the engine limits that require no skipper licence in Greece. Before you set off we give you a proper briefing — controls, anchoring, the area, and what to avoid.
The hirer agrees to:
- Stay within the agreed area and return on time.
- Keep within the boat's maximum number of people.
- Not operate the boat under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Follow the briefing and local rules at all times.
Deposit & damage
A refundable security deposit may be held against damage, loss of equipment, or returning the boat late or low on fuel. It's returned in full after the boat is checked back in. Damage caused by misuse or by ignoring the briefing is the hirer's responsibility.
Liability
You take part in boat trips at your own risk. To the extent allowed by law, Boatify Halkidiki is not liable for personal belongings, or for loss or injury arising from misuse of the boat or failure to follow the briefing and safety instructions. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Privacy
We only use the details you give us to handle your enquiry and booking. We don't sell them. See our privacy notice for the full picture.
